Challenger Program Families
The Challenger™ line of apparatus feature several families of program units to fit the unique needs of your department.
The RS body features a recessed rear step, full height/split depth compartments on the driver side, and low compartments with exterior ladder storage on the officer side. This traditional body design features ample storage space at a very budget conscious price. The RS body comes in three water tank sizes, 750, 1000, and 1250. An optional foam cell is also available for each of these tanks.
The FB body features full height/split depth compartments on both sides of the body for increased storage space, with ladders stored internally through a tunnel in the water tank which keeps the ladders more accessible at chest height when stored. The FB body comes in three water tank sizes, 750, 1000, and 1250. An optional foam cell is available for each of these tanks.
The WB body offers (22) different body configurations with a wide hosebed design that provides maximum hose storage space. The WB body maximizes compartment storage space and serves the needs of most engine-rescue apparatus specifications. This body is available in three water tank sizes, 500, 750, and 1000, and also has foam cell options for each tank.
The LH body offers an ultra-low hosebed design in a program unit package. The hosebed features hose storage starting at 43” from ground level with several different configurations for storage in the hosebed and compartments.
The ChallengerTM line offers program unit pricing, with custom features in the pumphouse and plumbing. A full range of pump sizes are available up to 2000 gpm in midship or PTO configurations. Pump panels are available in topmount or sidemount configurations with crosslay or speedlay options. Typical options like hosebed discharges, deck gun discharges, and LDH discharges are standard features on the ChallengerTM line.
